It's Easter season and we talk a lot about the resurrection. Is it even possible for one to rise from the dead? And if so, how do we know that it DID happen? As for the mere possibility of resurrection, we are inclined to think that if there is a God, as we customarily think of a Supreme Being or Creator, then resurrection is possible. As Scripture puts it, "With God, all things are possible." Assuming there is a God, then, resurrection is possible. The question then becomes whether He actually did so in any given instance. That's where one must read the records of those eyewitnesses who said He did in fact raise Jesus from the dead and decide whether they are credible or not. So, read the Gospels, Acts and certain New Testament epistles, for they assert that what God CAN do, He did in fact do in the case of Jesus Christ--and judge for yourself!

Our view is that of the Apostle Paul, whose words to the new Christians of Thessalonica long ago sum up the value of scriptural revelation: "...when you received from us the word of God's message, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, which also performs its work in you who believe."
